Another Update & a Classic Episode

For those wondering, I'm not dead yet, nor have I abandoned the Lair. My sinus infection did knock me out much longer than I expected, though. This past Friday, Saturday and Sunday weren't pretty. The well-wishes were very much appreciated. Thank you.

My sick days were immediately followed by two days of unexpected doubles at work. Needless to say, I'm one tired puppy right now. I will have a fresh episode for Friday, though (Finally! Sorry!). In the meantime, I dug into the "vault" to find one of my favorite episodes from 2008, "Size Matters."

Programming Note

Due to a sinus-attack-generated migraine the size of Texas and a double-shift I'm working tomorrow (if healthy enough for it), I'm gonna post tomorrow's episode on Saturday. Sorry about the delay, folks.

Frank's Fantasy Football: Week Ten

The most interesting matchup of week ten in Frank's Fantasy Football turned out to be my battle with Hip's team. We ended up with our league's first tie. The tie-breaker is determined by comparing each teams total score from its benched players (players we have on our roster, but opted not to play this week). Unfortunately for me, most of my bench were on byes this week, giving Hip the win.

Frank and Ted claimed the other wins more easily than Hip. Although, Frank's team cut it close against his Uncle's team.

Fortunately for me, I'm still in fourth place, despite Hip's victory over my team. Only four of our teams will make into our playoffs. Uncle Kerouac is out of the running for the playoffs, but Hip and I still have a shot at making it. To see how our teams rank, just check the sidebar. That also includes a link to our fantasy football league's page on ESPN.com. And here's a look at whose teams will face each other in week eleven.

Special thanks to Secco for letting me, Frank, Hip and Sam invade. If you're in Richmond, you've gotta check this place out. It's just awesome!

Frank's Fantasy Football: Week Nine

Well the fates have finally caught up with Frank's team. Yes, that's right. Frank's undefeated Richmond Bad Cats have finally suffered their first loss of the season in our fantasy football league. Ted's Buildabearville Bears claimed the bragging rights, winning 83 to 76.

I enjoyed another victory, but I still have a losing record of 4-5, which is better than poor Hip, whose Claritin Flames are sitting at 3-6, despite a win against Uncle Kerouac's On the Road Warriors.

Odds favor Frank's team will avoid two losses in a row since he faces his uncle's team next week. We'll see if Hip can keep my Virginia Wildcats from breaking even at 5-5 while Ted E. Bear and the snarky Troy Goode battle it out for second place.

To see how our teams rank, just check the sidebar. That also includes a link to our fantasy football league's page on ESPN.com.
