Bracket Battle 2011 Approaches!
It's that time of year again... time for people to remind themselves why they shouldn't gamble. That's right. It's time for March Madness (a.k.a., the NCAA Basketball Tournament). The Wildcat's Lair won't be missing out on the fun, but we will be doing things a little differently this year. More on those changes in a moment, but first... it's your chance to join in the fun by decorating your computer in this year's wallpaper for "Bracket Battle 2011."

So, what's going to be different about this year's Bracket Battle? This year, we're going to be forming teams. That's right, for better or worse, we'll be doing our brackets by committee. Here are the teams for this year and their captain(s):
Team Wildcat - Co-Captains: Bill and Frank
Team Dragon - Captain: Dragon Queen (a.k.a., Bill's Wife)
Team Bear - Captain: Ted E. Bear
Team Catnip - Captain: Uncle Kerouac
Team Canine - Captain: Page
So, there you have it. Since my wife's team of dragons includes Hip, her team is technically the defending champ for this year's battle. I'll post all the details on the scoring system when the tournament begins. Until then, enjoy the cool wallpaper. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out this year.
