Technical Difficulties

Sorry for the sudden silence on the blog. I’m afraid Frank’s adventures have run into a few computer problems of late. As of a few weeks ago, trying to log into AOL.com has rather consistently locked up my Firefox and Internet Explorer. Sometimes, things have gotten so bad that the whole computer locked up. While that’s not a real issue for my blogger version, there are other problems.

ROGER (as I often call my computer) isn’t doing well at all. For the past year, he’s developed a grinding sound that only gets worse the longer I leave him turned on. Of late, there’s some serious lag issues taking place which have made doing much of anything on ROGER far more difficult than usual.

The problem occurred during a rather busy offline period of time, too. I’ve been neck-deep in finishing up plans for this year’s James River Writers Conference. Hopefully, you’ll be able to see the information on the conference go live on the JRW website in early May. Coupled with that has been an excessive amount of overtime at my job, about 14 hours extra each week (my own stupid choice in the name of more money). All those offline responsibilities hasn’t left me much time to figure out what’s wrong with ROGER, and even as I’m managing this entry, I’m still not sure if I’ve got it licked.

Keep your fingers crossed, and sorry for the interruption in Frank’s adventures (he probably sabotaged ROGER as payback for me winning the Bracket Battle… the lousy stinker). Hopefully, this entry is a sign I can get the blog moving again.
