You got a genuine laugh out loud from me on this one! The music is perfect, and it's so true about the filler scenes of a brooding Crockett in the car! (I loved the show, too, by the way.) One of my favorite driving scenes was Crockett and Tubbs heading out, with Devo's "Going Under" playing. I can't hear that song now without thinking of that scene.
Hey, how does Frank reach the pedals? ;) Have a great holiday weekend! Beth
I was torn about the music. Finally went with my first instinct and used "Crockett's Theme" by Jan Hammer. The other song I'd consider was "You Belong to the City" by Glenn Frey, which they used in the New York episode. Crockett was walking the streets of NYC to that one. Man, I think my wife must have really converted me. I'm talking like an expert.
And as for how Frank can reach the pedals and steer... um, well... Hmmm... OH! Yes, it's really Merlin's car, so I'm sure it has some special modifications. Yes, I think that sounds good. I'll go with that.

Forget the pedals, how does he steer without opposable thumbs :o)
ReplyDeleteWhile we loved the original, we have not ventured into the remake mix yet.
