Frank's Fantasy Football: Week Thirteen

Just who's going to the playoffs in Frank's Fantasy Football? Well, going into Week Thirteen, only two teams were a lock for the playoffs, Frank's and Ted's. Uncle Kerouac's On the Road Warriors were left for dead on the side of the road a long time ago. That left me, Hip and Troy Goode to battle it out for the remaining two playoff slots. AND... the one of those three who isn't going to the playoffs is... me. Yes, your friendly neighborhood Wildcat has been eliminated, despite upsetting Ted's team this past weekend. Unfortunately, Hip and Troy also won their matchups. I'm not really sure how the points were used to name me the loser, but there it is. Here's how the scores worked out for the final week of our regular season.

So, now that you know the remaining four teams, let's discuss how the playoffs work. In the first round of the playoffs, the first place team faces the fourth place team. That means Frank will face Hip. Second and third place, Ted and Troy, will battle it out.

The matchups in the playoffs work a little differently from the regular season. Instead of facing each other in just one week, the playoff matchups are based on two weeks of play. So, Frank and Hip will face each other in Weeks Fourteen and Fifteen. The total score from both weeks of play will determine the winner. The two winners from the first round of the playoffs will face off in Weeks Sixteen and Seventeen to determine the ultimate winner.

I'm curious to see if Frank will hold to his strategy of "Do nothing." He enjoyed a long winning streak that way, but he's started to get into trouble in the latter half of the season with some of his players injured and out for the rest of the season. Stay tuned to see what happens.
