Frank's Fantasy Football: Weeks Eleven & Twelve
The NFL might have several weeks of the regular season left to go, but for Frank's Fantasy Football, this coming weekend marks the last week before our playoffs. Frank is still in first place despite a two-game losing streak, first to me in Week Eleven and to the villainous Troy Goode in Week Twelve.
Hip and I both got off to rough starts this season, but we've made up for it in the second half of the season.
Troy, on the other hand, has suffered quite a few setbacks in the second half of the season. He's managed to narrowly hold onto his third place ranking thanks to a win against Frank in Week Twelve. Prior to that, he'd lost three matchups in a row to me, Hip and Ted E. Bear. Since I missed posting the scores for Week Eleven, I've got them here along with the scores from Week Twelve.
So in the final week of our regular season, Frank and Ted are both locked in for the playoffs. Troy, Hip and I are all sporting records of 6-6. It's probably safe to say Troy's Tri-Cities Terrors are in the playoffs since he's facing Uncle Kerouac's almost-winless On the Road Warriors. That means it's a fight to see if I or Hip will snag the fourth slot in the playoffs. At the moment, Hip's in fourth place, so I gotta hope he loses his matchup against Frank's Richmond Bad Cats. It's not looking good for me, though. Thanks to Thursday night's game between the Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles, both Hip and Troy are sporting some substantial leads. Ouch...I think Uncle K needs to change his team name to On the Roadhouse Blues. Woke up this mornin' and I got myself some 'nip.
Could be tough for the Wildcat to move up in the standings.
