Frank's Fantasy Football: Finale

For the NFL, the playoffs are just about to start, but for Fantasy Football, the season is officially finished. So who's the big winner the Wildcat's Lair's League? Sadly, the honor goes to the less than pleasant, incarcerated pooch named Cerberus.

After masquerading as the enigmatic "Troy Goode," he managed to sneak into our league. We even paid off the animal shelter to cut him off from the Internet to keep him from updating his fantasy football team, but it just wasn't enough. With such heavy-hitters on his team as Michael Vick and Arian Foster, his Tri-Cities Terrors just couldn't be beat. He defeated Hip's Claritin Flames in their two-week championship matchup by a score of 183-132.

Hip deserves some credit for staging an impressive comeback. At one point, he occupied the next-to-last place in the league with a record of 2-5. By the end of the season, he'd improved his record to 7-6 for fourth place in the league and squeaked into the playoffs.

So will the Wildcat's Lair do another fantasy football tournament for the 2011-12 season? Hard to say. The results seem to have left most of us with a sour taste in our mouths, but we might feel differently come September.

Wonder if Cerberus had any canine help?

Right. Everyone go lick your wounds now...this time next year, you'll be chomping at the bit to do this again!
