Once upon a time, this blog started as nothing but a reading journal. Like any typical, evil cat, he took over. The Lair's early readers picked Frank "Skywhips" Orion's name. He loves café mochas, books and kitty porn. Suggestions that he has any ties to the so-called "Cat Mafia" remain unproven in a court of law. What are the Tri Cities? Richmond-Norfolk-Petersburg? I dunno, I am just curious!
An interesting question, and you did have one of the three. The Tri-Cities is made up of Petersburg, Colonial Heights and Hopewell, all of which are just south (or just inside the southern portion, depending on who you ask) of the Greater Richmond Metro Area.
